They give you the chance to play along with the storylines. Many of the machines are 50¢ for one play. If you are up for a challenge, consider entering one of their weekly tournaments and test your skills against other gamers.

iFly

Get the experience of skydiving without jumping from a plane when you visit iFly Seattle. iFly is on Tukwila Parkway in Tukwila. This indoor wind tunnel is a great cold-weather activity for the entire family. As a new flyer, you and your group go through a required training course so you’ll understand what to expect and how to get the most out of your training class.

There are special activities and sessions available, including a flight school for children age 4 – 16. The All Abilities program means that everyone can fly even those with physical limitations. Thanks to virtual reality, you can enjoy a flight over many different locations without leaving the safety of the tunnel.

Gameworks

Warm up with fun and friends at Gameworks in Seattle.  Located on Pike Street, they have something for everyone in the family. If you enjoy esports, there is a high-tech lounge waiting for you. There are also over 100 classic and cutting edge video games for everyone to enjoy. When you get hungry, check out the Works kitchen. Refuel for more gaming with a variety of snacks, pizza, salads, wings, and sweet treats. There is a kids’ choice menu that allows your kids to build their meals.

When you arrive at Gameworks, you purchase a reusable player card. The card holds the credits you need to enjoy the games. Parking is available in an adjacent lot off of 7th Street for $8 an hour or $8 a day after 4 p.m. Gameworks is open from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Saturday. They are open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday. After 10 p.m., it is only for those over 18. After 11 p.m., you must be 21 to enter.

Before you leave, call your friends or your child’s friends and ask them to join you. The more people you get to enjoy an indoor day of fun with you, the easier it is to create memories and have fun! Don’t forget your camera to capture the best moments of your day.
