The 2020 Harley-Davison Cruiser Low Rider S is a sleek bike that has the handling and agility of a sport bike with a West Coast style that appeals to riders of all tastes. Its excellent fuel economy, low weight, and capable engine make this bike a great option for daily commutes or joy rides through the city. Take a look at this guide to the 2020 Cruiser Low Rider S.

Trim Levels (Exterior)

With its 92.7 inches in length, 4.7 inches of ground clearance, and 63.6-inch wheelbase, the Cruiser Low Rider S is easy to maneuver. You can get it in either Vivid Black or Barracuda Silver, which, when combined with the blacked-out finishes, gives this bike a classic look with a modern twist that’s sure to turn heads as you cruise by.

Up front, you’ll be riding on a 19-inch wheel, while the back wheel is 16-inches, and both come in a Matte Dark Bronze finish. The single round LED headlight is recessed and surrounded by a mini speed screen, keeping the look of past S models.

Low ground clearance makes it easy to get on and off this bike, and most riders will fit comfortably in the single-rider seat. With its upright riding position and mid-mount foot controls, you’ll feel like the king of the road. Additionally, the motocross-style handlebar has a 1-inch diameter and sits on 4-inch risers to put you in an aggressive riding position. A 4-inch speedometer and 4-inch tachometer let you easily keep an eye on your speed and rpms as well as your fuel level, trip mileage, and the time.

Engine (Power)

There’s only one engine option for the 2020 Cruiser Low Rider S, but it’s one that won’t disappoint. The Milwaukee-eight 114 engine on this bike not only gives off a satisfying rumble, but it also puts out a healthy 119 pound-feet of torque and has an impressive displacement of 114 cubic inches, which is the most you can get from the Softail chassis. The two-on-two shotgun mufflers framing the back end look sleek, and the Gloss Black ventilator air intake up front has an exposed filter element that helps to improve airflow.

You’ll enjoy the handling and agility of this bike, thanks to its lightweight design and reduced rake. On previous Low Rider models, the rake was 30 degrees. Now, it has been reduced to 28 degrees, which translates to more responsive handling, especially around curves. An inverted front fork further improves handling by stiffening the front end. For dynamic cornering, quick acceleration, and exceptional braking capability, you’ll find a mono-shock rear suspension system that also preserves the hardtail look of this Low Rider model.

Safety Features

In addition to its large, round LED headlight, the 2020 Harley-Davidson Cruiser Low Rider S has an exceptional anti-lock brake system. The dual front disc brakes have a stronger braking performance and require less lever effort than the single front disc brake featured on previous models. This means you’ll have all the stopping power you need to give you confidence on the road.
